This MOKALUN™ African net sponge follows the original West African design: one long strip of woven nylon mesh, supplied without handles. Also known as a sapo, it is gathered or folded in the hand for daily bathing; held at both ends, it reaches across the back, shoulders and neck.

The open mesh builds a rich lather with little soap and rinses clean under running water. The weave is firmer than a standard washcloth, which suits a thorough daily scrub without feeling harsh. It folds flat for storage or travel. After use, rinse the net and hang it to air-dry fully before the next shower. Rinse in warm water before first use. Slight colour release in the first wash is normal.
